This message is consistent with typical Tutoring Scams. The message content has been sent from two different email addresses. In this case, the message is sent from Amitha Augustine and signed by a Lydia, these names do not match. Messages appear to be sent from university student accounts, claiming to be a parent, requesting an email be sent to a different email address not associated with the university. This tactic could be used in order to ensure response is not bounced or blocked in the event an account is recognized as compromised.

Hi there,

I hope you are doing well. I am reaching out to inquire about tutoring services for my daughter in General Studies for a period of 7- weeks. She requires assistance in generally, and we are looking for a tutor who can provide structured and engaging support to help strengthen her understanding in these areas.

Could you please provide your hourly rate, availability, and the subjects you specialize in to my husband at ( martiniharry3@gmail.com ). My husband will be reviewing the details and will follow up accordingly.

I appreciate your time and look forward to your response.

Best,

Lydia.
